Martial, epigrammatist extraordinaire, has a new web presence: a blog called (what else?) Martialis will consist of a poem a day--in Latin and in English translation--for the next four-plus years...Nick Wilshire, the author of the project, encourages people to come to the site and comment on the individual poems as he doles them out...With any luck, toto notus in orbe Martialis/argutis epigrammaton libellis [I.1] will become even more so...
